Principia HSPT Diagnostic

Once your student clicks on the Take Our HSPT Diagnostic button, they should add their full name and email address to start the test. Please note the following:

• The duration of the diagnostic test is 2.5 hours with one 5-minute break after the second section and a 2-minute break after the third section

• The student will only have one attempt, and once the test is started, it cannot be paused or resumed later

• We recommend students use the entire time allotted for each section to review their answers

• The student should be in a quiet environment without any other electronic devices except a calculator

• We also recommend students to read the instructions carefully before clicking to start their test

• If your students has accommodations, please toggle on the Accommodations and Support feature and select the section and break time accommodations

The results will be available immediately and the student will receive an email to their email address to create a username and password to access their results. We’ll also follow up with recommendations within 72 hours from the time the diagnostic test is submitted regarding next steps. Please allow for a longer response time than usual during holidays and closures.
